Welcome! I am a first-year DPhil (PhD) student in Politics at Nuffield College and the Department of Politics and International Relations (DPIR), University of Oxford.
My doctoral research examines the formation of political attitudes throguh socialization, focusing on the influence of the family, local, and political contexts. This work is generously funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. More broadly, I am interested in questions related to voting behaviour, attitude and preference formation, vote choice, political trust, inequality and redistribution, and radical right parties. I usually work with panel data using causal inference methods.I hold an MPhil in Politics (Comparative Government) from Lincoln College, University of Oxford, and a BSc in Philosophy, Politics and Economics with Social Data Science from University College London.
I am committed to improving access to academia (especially for people from underrepresented groups), so feel free to get in touch if you need advice about pursuing graduate study in Political Science.
